Preliminary Designs for Construction of Fourth Bridge in Novi Sad Presented

Representatives of the Chinese company CRBC have presented several preliminary designs for the construction of the new bridge on the Danube to the mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucevic, and the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure of Serbia, Tomislav Momirovic.

– After this meeting, we are several steps closer to the construction of the fourth bridge in Novi Sad. We talked to the Chinese partners about several potential technical and visual solutions for the new bridge, whose name will be chosen by the citizens of Novi Sad. We are stepping up all the activities toward the beginning of the construction. We are looking at a serious job regarding the expropriation on both the Srem and the Backa sides, and we are convinced that we will get what we emphasized to our Chinese partners, a bridge fit for the postcards of Novi Sad – Vucevic said and announced a new meeting for about ten days later.

Minister Momirovic pointed out that numerous capital projects were being realized in Novi Sad at that moment and added that another bridge, a part of the Fruska Gora Corridor, was to be built, the Cabinet of the Mayor of Novi Sad announced.
