Access Structures to the Bridge on the Sava Near Sremska Raca Being Completed – Take a Look at the New Footage of the Construction of the Highway Section from Kuzmin (VIDEO)

The construction of the bridge on the Sava, as strategically the most important structure on the Kuzmin - Sremska Raca highway section, despite the bad weather conditions, is progressing very well and has not lost any intensity, the PE Roads of Serbia announced.

At the moment, the works on the bridge on the Sava near Sremska Raca itself have been accelerated and the completion of the access structures is apparent. The works on the Kuzmin interchange have been intensified. The remaining structures on the route are at a high percentage of completion.

– The works on the bridge on the Sava near Sremska Raca, where the completion of the access structures is apparent, have been intensified. What remains to be done is to cast four pre-fabricated supports. Together with these four supports, which are to be mounted, practically, the whole geometry of the entire bridge with access structures, on both the Serbian side and the side of Republika Srpska, will be formed – said Dragan Jocic of the PE Roads of Serbia.

According to him, the works on the Kuzmin interchange have been intensified – of the two independent structures, all the piles and the four pile caps have already been set up on one of them, whereas on the other one, the works on the setting up of the piles are being done.

The beginning of the route of the highway section is close to the existing de-leveled intersection Kuzmin and stretches along the north - south direction by the settlements of Kuzmin and Bosut, all the way to Sremska Raca, where it ends with the bridge on the Sava.
