VUCEVIC: Three Offers by Chinese Companies for Construction of Fourth Bridge in Novi Sad

There are three valid offers by Chinese companies for the construction of a fourth bridge with a bypass route in Novi Sad and we expect the ministry to quickly present to the government a working group which should start negotiating with the best bidder, said the mayor of Novi Sad, Milos Vucevic.

– The general project of the bridge is finished and we are now to prepare the preliminary design. Very quickly, we will be able to notify the public of the serious progress in the realization of that project – Vucevic announced, the website of the City of Novi Sad reports.

Let us remind that the bridge is to be built in the extension of Evrope Blvd, and the estimated value is around RSD 15 billion. It will be 2.4 km long and is to be set up 31 meters above the water level. It will have four lanes, two in each direction, with a traffic island in the middle and cycling and pedestrian lanes, each two meters wide, on both sides.
