Jiangsu Nantong Sanjian Construction Group considering expanding its business from Serbia to Europe – Chinese company ready for realization of first projects

Jiangsu Nantong Sanjian Construction Group is considering expanding its business from Serbia to Europe, said the president of the Chinese corporation, Huang Yu Hui, and added that Serbia had attracted attention of numerous Chinese companies as a business destination.

He added that his corporation had already sent several delegations to Serbia in 2016, aiming to establish contacts with potential future partners, and that the time had come to realize numerous project which, according to them, might be profitable to both sides.

Jiangsu Nantong Sanjian Construction Group is one of the 500 largest Chinese companies, with offices in 34 countries, and its main activities include construction, electronics, finance and real estate transfer.

President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic also met with the company's delegation and said on the occasion that “Serbia is a fertile ground for investments from China, which many Chinese companies have had the opportunity to see”.

– Today, Serbia is a country where it's much easier to do business and cooperate on joint projects than before, thanks to a clear and responsible policy our state has adhered to for five years now, our resolve to continue developing the country in line with the standards of the most developed countries of the world and the fact that we have signed duty-free agreements with numerous countries – Nikolic said.


He reminded that Serbia had signed a strategic partnership agreement with China, the kind of which, as he estimated, is desired by many countries of the world. He also invited representatives of the Chinese company to invest in Serbia and to use the market as a starting point for further expansion of operations towards Europe.

– Joint work can lead to considerable profit for investors, and at the same time create new jobs for the people of Serbia – Nikolic said.
