Innovations of Serbian startups in sports to be presented to world investors
The winner among the Colosseum Bootcamp teams that underwent a 5-month program where they worked on developing their innovations will be selected by an expert jury consisting of serial entrepreneurs, investment and venture fund representatives, the Science-Technology Park Belgrade announced.
Startups that have made the required progress during the Program will pitch at the Demo day on October 30 at Science Technology Park Belgrade: FitWorld, Wonnabet, 3D Basketball skills, Sportifico, Appollo, SkillBall.
Colosseum Sports Tech Serbia is the first program of support meant for local startups which develop innovations in the field of sports. It is being realized by the Science Technology Park in cooperation with the Israeli Colosseum Sport.
Demo day will also gather inspirational keynote speakers to encourage future teams and drive discussion on hot spots tech topics.
Gary Stewart, Director of Wayra UK, one of the world's leading corporate accelerators, which invests up to USD 50,000 in startups in early stages of development, will talk about how startups scale and succeed.
Rohn Malhotra, a partner at SportsTechX and serial entrepreneur, will explain why now is the right time to startup in sports tech, whereas Branko Kokir, a former handball player and Managing Director at Merkur Games, will talk about his development from an athlete to a business leader.
Ofir Frank, serial entrepreneur and CTO at Maccabi Tel Aviv BasketBall, and Igor Beslin, head Analyst at Venionaire Capital, Vienna, will also have the opportunity of meeting the local startup scene and the technological solutions which local startups develop in the field of sports.
