UNICEF to open contest for technological startups – Looking to invest USD 100,000
The UNICEF Innovation Fund is looking to invest USD 100,000 in technological startups which make profit and have the potential to contribute to the wellbeing of humankind.
Startups from Serbia or any country involved in the UNICEF’s programs that deal with innovations in the field of digital connecting, remote labor and education, as well as job seeking for adolescents and the young, using machine learning, AI, blockchain technologies or augmented reality, may apply.
Applicants need to have an open code prototype producing promising results.
Through technology development and this contest, the UNICEF seeks to incite teams founded by women to apply, so as to reduce the gender gap, as the number of men using the internet is nearly double the number of women.
All interested teams and startups may apply by September 30 by filling out this form. For more information, they can apply for the webinar which will be held on September 17.
