Renovated four-star Zabljak hotel opens - Montenegrin Government ready to pour EUR 10 mil in the Durmitor region
Renovated four-star hotel Zabljak opened on Zabljak. The Montenegrin Minister for the sustainable development and tourism, Branimir Gvozdenovic, announced at the opening new investments totaling EUR 10 mil.
- This is a new, good impulse to tourism development in Zabljak, I am sure that this gives new strength and energy to implement projects which should provide that Zabljak takes the real place in the tourist map - Gvozdenovic said when at the hotel opening.
He added that the Government of Montenegro will pour more than EUR 10 mil in new paths and ski lifts on Zabljak as well as that it will secure significant funds for rehabilitation pf hotels Jezera and Planika.
As Podgorica-based Pobjeda reports, the Minister estimated that the implementation of the Zabljak- Risan road is a new opportunity for the development of this tourist destination.
The Executive Manager at the Hotel menadzment Durmitor compnay, Vladimir Kujundzic, reminded that renovation of the Zabljak hotel started more than a year ago, adding that the job was not easy at all and that it required a lot of money and effort.
