Protagonous seeks partner to build suite complex Tiara wellness club at Palic after Austrian model

Palic, a famous tourist destination in the north of our country, may soon get a new suite complex featuring a spa center. Namely, Serbian-Austrian company Protagonous intends to have EUR 3.5 million worth of Tiara wellness club Palic built in cooperation with an investor.

The location for the future tourist resort has already been found, and is situated between Palic Lake and Krvavo (Bloody) Lake, about 8 kilometers away from Subotica and 20 kilometers away from Horgosz, that is, Hungarian border. The project for this complex designed after the Austrian model for similar complexes is ready, but an investor is still being sought.

- We've established the Protagonous company in association with a partner from Austria because we wanted to have a modern suite complex featuring a spa center built in line with European standards. Now we are searching for an investor to partner up with on the Tiara project – Milan Malicevic, director of Subotica-based Profit, a company that has a long tradition of building residential and business complexes, says in a talk with eKapija.

Our interlocutor notes that he should meet with a prospective investor from Germany by the end of this month.

According to the project, Tiara wellness club Palic would span 4,000 square meters. The complex should comprise 38 suites ranging in size from 25 to 100 square meters as well as thermal pools, saunas, a gym and other amenities that are typical for the facilities of this kind.

- The investor would put the suites up for sale, and there would also be a company to manage and rent them on behalf of suite owners when they are not using them. The plan is also to open a clinic for cosmetic surgery, dentist offices and indoor and outdoor swimming pools within the complex. The attic should feature a congress room as Palic represents an ideal destination for this form of tourism - says Malicevic.

Judging by the designs, the complex would be made complete with a coffee shop featuring a balcony and an atrium with a panoramic elevator.

Ideas on how to improve the tourist offer of Palic are numerous. However, it is necessary to first find a solution to the problem of mud in the lake in order to attract more investors to this once famous elite summer resort.
