Both football and shopping - What to expect at Stadion Shopping Center as of April 25?
(Stadion Shopping Center)
As of Wednesday, April 25th, the Belgrade borough of Vozdovac will be a place where two passions meet: shopping and sport. It is said that there is no better fun for a woman than going shopping. For the first time ever, the male share of the population will be able to watch football matches at the top of one such "female realm".
On Thursday, at about 10 AM, Stadion Shopping Center will be opened at 32 Zaplanjska Street in Vozdovac. As announced, a music show and artists will make this opening ceremony complete, whereas specially designed fun pits and numerous discounts will delight all visitors on the opening day.
New Stadion Shopping Center, spanning about 75,000 square meters, is the largest shopping center in the old part of Belgrade. It features a parking lot for 800 cars on two underground floors as well as a football stadium on its roof. Retail space occupies a surface area of 28,000 square meters, and is used by the most famous global and local fashion brands, coffee shops, restaurants and various other entertainment facilities.
A total of EUR 50 million were invested in the construction of this complex, which was built using a unique building system. As it was confirmed to eKapija, this shopping center will employ 800 workers.
By the way, Stadion Shopping Center has hired the Confluence Property Management company to manage the facility, primarily when it comes to space lease, marketing and public relations.
As people at Confluence told our web portal, Stadion Shopping Center has decided to hire them because they are already recognized as a leader in property management, the management of shopping centers in particular, in Serbia as well as the region.
Investors believe that most consumers will come from the neighborhood as this is a "real neighborhood shopping center". On the other hand, they also expect the brands and offer at Stadion to attract visitors from all around Belgrade.
Stadium
Although every shopping center attracts the interest of citizens, at least prior to the opening, maybe this new one in Vozdovac wouldn't draw so much attention if it didn't have a stadium on the roof.

The football stadium on the third floor is built in line with all applicable UEFA standards, and can accommodate 5,000 spectators. Designed in this way, Stadion Shopping Center represents the fourth facility in Europe to feature a football pitch built twenty meters above the ground.
Investors are of the opinion that the design and shape of the stadium ensure ideal conditions for athletic events and a "perfect experience for spectators". This football stadium will also host big concerts and cultural events, offering spacious VIP boxes for multiple use.
Wellness center and restaurant with "exclusive" view
The third floor accommodates a modernly equipped wellness center spanning 800 square meters as well as an exclusive restaurant with an incredible view of Belgrade.
