Nenad Vučinić, Managing Director of Henkel Yugoslavia
Nenad Vucinic began his career in commerce in the 1990s in Vienna, in foreign trade company Intkom. He switched to Procter&Gamble, Austria in 1992, where he worked as a Regional Key Account Manager, Brand Manager and Customer Marketing Director for the Austrian and German markets, as well as Director of Sales and the distribution network on the markets of Serbia and Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia.
After leaving Procter&Gamble, Mr. Vucinic used his knowledge of brands in a successful spell at advertising agency TBWA. When in 2003 Henkel acquired Merima, the leading national producer of detergents, household chemicals and cosmetic during the 1990s, Mr. Vucinic was appointed Managing Director of Henkel Yugoslavia. In just three years, Henkel Merima regained a leading position in the Serbian market in the category of detergents.
Vucinic received the Golden Bridge Award on behalf of the company in 2005, for activities in linking up markets, while the Best Trade Mark in Serbia award in the category of detergents went to Merix detergent.
