Preparation of Project of Construction of Oil Pipeline Serbia-Hungary: Pannonian Corridor for Transfer of Electrical Energy

The president of the Provincial Government, Igor Mirovic, and the minister of mining and energy of Serbia, Dubravka Djedovic Handanovic, talked about the infrastructure projects in energy that are important for an increase of the capacities for the storage of oil and oil products.

At the meeting held at the Provincial Government, they talked about the preparations for the realization of the project of the construction of the Serbia-Hungary oil pipeline, one of the strategic projects of the Government of Serbia.

Mirovic and Djedovic Handanovic pointed out the importance of the construction of this oil pipeline for getting another route of crude oil supply, the Provincial Government announced.

At the meeting, there was also talk about the construction of the Pannonian corridor for the transfer of electrical energy, as well as the project of the construction of a gas power plant in Novi Sad.

Mirovic and Djedovic Handanovic agreed that the improvement of energy efficiency in public facilities and local self-governments was very important as it would enable heating and electrical energy savings.
