With the construction of new rail, Cuprija stays at side gage

After 130 years of existence, the Belgrade-Nis railroad, become side gage at the Corrdior 10 with the construction of Gilje-Paracin railroad.

- With the completion of the two-gage railroad, Gilje - Paracin,only local trains and trains for the needs of Cuprija trade will enter the Cuprija station – a responsible contractor on the two-gage railroad, Zeljko R. Markovic, said for Tanjug.

All the international transport traffic will operate via newly built Jagodina-Gilje-Paraćin railroad which does not go to Cuprija, Markovic pointed out and added that Cuprija will be connected with Paracin with “separate, the third lane”.
