"Prokop finally gets "green light"
As "Serbian Railways" reported, there are no more obstacles for conclusion of contract with domestic consortium and for construction works to start on Belgrade railway station "Prokop".
During public procurement procedure, Republic Commission for Protection of Rights rejected complaints for public procurement of construction works on the reconstruction of railway station "Prokop".
Complaints on further construction of "Prokop", funded by Kuwait loan of EUR 26 million, were rejected. Therefore, "Serbian Railways" can smoothly and rapidly continue its activities on conclusion of the contract with the most favourable contractor, and start construction works, as well.
The order of Republic Commission for Protection of Rights approved the final decision of "Serbian Railways" to reject complaints on protection of rights of the following - "Bauwesen" from Lazarevac, "Meta Balkan" from Belgrade, "GIP Constructor" form Belgrade and "Remont pruga" from Sarajevo.
The complaint of "Toplica Center for Democracy and Human Rights" from Prokuplje has been denied, as well.
"Serbian Railways" have already started preparation for conclusion of contract with the most favourable contractor in order to commence construction works on "Prokop" railway station.
Consortium of companies gathered around "Energoprojekt" – including "Energoprojekt - Niskogradnja", "Energoprojekt -Visokogradnja", "Energoprojekt Oprema", "ZGOP" and "AZD" – got this job on the tender, offering the lowest price.
