Sportina enters forced restructuring
The textile trader, Bled-based Sportina, ownership of Bahtijar Bajrovic, ended up in the forced restructuring process.
According to unofficial information, in the last couple of months, Bajrovic did not succeed in agreeing with majority of trustee banks on long-term reprogramming terms with some EUR 60 mil. However, according to unofficial information, Austrian Hypo Group Alpe Adria did not want to accept these terms.
Thus, Bajrovic did not have anything else to do but to submit to the court the suggestion for prevention restructuring with the support of seven key banks and this way, apart from Hypo bank saves his kingdom. The prevention restructuring process in the next five months must be supported by trustees with at least 75% secured and unsecured debts. In that case, the agreement would be valid for all trustee banks, including Hypo bank.
