90,000 hectares of arable land in Serbia flooded

According to the preliminary data of the Agriculture Ministry, about 90,000 hectares of arable land in Serbia is flooded, while sowing can be done again on 50 percent of that land, Director of the Administration for Agricultural Land Zoran Knezevic said today.
He specified that resowing could be done in ten to fifteen days if the analysis showed that the land was safe for use.
