Electronic payment of four more taxes from July 1st

Sasa Dulic, assistant to the director of the Tax Administration of Serbia, said March 7 that another four forms of tax collection would be done electronically as of July 1: taxes and contributions, value added tax (VAT), excise taxes, and corporate income tax.

In that way, the Tax Administration will be collecting 92 percent of all taxes electronically starting July, Dulic said and explained that some other types of tax collection would also be done electronically then.

Since March 1st, when the Tax Administration introduced electronic tax returns for unified collection of withholding tax, up to 16,000 electronic are submitted every day, reducing the job of Tax Administration clerks by 65%.
