Uni Food Orgil interested in building distribution center for fruits and vegetables in Leskovac

American-Israeli company Uni Food Orgil intends to rent a space in Leskovac's Green Zone.

- This company has expressed a wish to rent about 15 hectares through its Belgrade-based subsidiary to build a distribution center for fruits and vegetables on that land - Bojan Tojaga, the director of the Leskovac Agency for Local Economic Development (ALER), explains. Prospective investors in the Green Zone will have to pay RSD 670,000 per hectare or more for the conversion of agricultural land to building land, but they will also enjoy substantial lease benefits depending on the number of their employees.

The Green Zone covers an area of about 100 hectares. According to the daily Jugmedia, Uni Food Orgil is only one of the companies that expressed interest in investing in Leskovac in 2013.
