Thermal water found in Jagodina, grounds for the future spa center

(Jagodina)'Hidrooprema' experts from Sabac have found, after two months of drilling, thermal mineral water in Jagodina, which is the ground for building a future spa center and development of health tourism in this city.
Water of 37 C temperature, has been found on 400 m underground, and planned construction will be started in May, according to the President of the City Parliament, Dragan Markovic-Palma.
The value of the project is 21.000.000 rsd, and the funds are provided by the city's budget.
The drilling site is located at 'Aqua park', about 700 m from the city center and 150 m from 'Hil Hotel'.
Geothermal research was started on October, 28, with the license from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Planning, with a goal of finding and exploitation of thermal underground waters on the location 'Aqua park'.
The project was realised by 'Hidrogeocentar' based in Lestane, and supervision of works was conducted by the construction engineers, Marija Ljubojevic and Vitomir Veljkovic.
-The citizens of Serbia will have opportunity to visit Jagodina spa, next year, said Markovic.
