SME's invited to apply for new EU support program
The EU Delegation to Serbia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) yesterday issued a public call for small and medium-sized enterprises in Serbia to apply for the new support program.
Grants from the "Support to SME Development in Serbia" program can be used to implement various short-term projects - from those focusing on market research and strategic planning, quality management and certification, to energy efficiency and environmental protection.
This program offers large companies with up to 500 employees long-term projects lasting between 12 and 18 months as well as cooperation with experienced international advisers.
Such projects help companies get familiar with best international practices and latest business methods, which boosts their competitiveness in the global market.
"Support to SME Development in Serbia" is financed through the EU Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) over a period of 36 months, through June 2016.
