Dr. Oetker plans to build new business complex in Simanovci
Dr. Oetker, Europe's leading producer of cake additives, desserts, puddings and frozen foods, is going to build a new business complex in southeast industrial zone in Simanovci.
As people from the Pecinci municipality told eKapija, it is most likely that the construction of the new facility will start in the spring 2014.
- Public presentation of the urban design for the new business complex of the Dr. Oetker company will be on public display between September 11th and 18th, after which a building permit is expected to be issued. It is most likely that the construction will commence this spring - people at the Town Planning Department of the Pecinci municipality told eKapija.
Municipal officials say that on the basis of the Urban Design prepared by Domus Construction from Indjija, this two-floor facility should comprise four units: administrative, technical, production and storage sections.
People from the Pecinci municipality still don't know how much money will be invested in the new production facility and what exactly will be produced there, while people at Dr. Oetker refuse to disclose the details of the new investment for now.
Dr.Oetker has been operating in Serbia since 2001. The company expanded its operations in this market in April 2011, when it acquired Centroproizvod's confectionery and powder products divisions.
