Square Nine declared best hotel in Serbia by World Travel Awards

World Travel Awards has declared Belgrade-based Square Nine Hotel the best hotel in Serbia for the second year in a row.

Other competitors for this award for the year 2013 were hotels Izvor, Mr. President, and Hyatt Regency, Square Nine said in a release.

The award for the best hotel in Serbia was presented to Square Nine in Turkey. The jury included a record number of 220,000 experts as well as the users of tourist and hospitality services worldwide.

The World Travel Awards' recognition is the most prestigious acknowledgement in the tourism sector.

This year, Yorkshire won the award for the best European destination, the best city-weekend destination is Lisbon, while the most prominent tourist attraction is the Eiffel Tower.
