Serbia strategic market for Greece's Elvial

Serbia is a strategically important market for Elvial, a Greek giant in the field of production and distribution of aluminum profiles, said company's owner Asimina Tzika.

She told Tanjug news agency that Elvial was satisfied with its operations in Serbia, where products were being distributed through three partner companies - STS, Mirex and Elvial in Belgrade.

Tzika noted that Elvial had invested more than EUR 50 million in the construction of a new 160,000 square meter factory near Salonika since 2004, adding that the company had also completely modernized production for the European market.

She said that Elvial was currently implementing an investment program worth EUR 3.5 million, stressing that the company would keep operating in the Serbian market where it had been present for as many as 15 years.
