Georgi Lagana (DynCorp) claims – Cargo terminal of Airport Beograd to be built by companies from Serbia
Georgi Lagana, vice-president of DynCorp, in cooperation with partners from Washington Group International, expects that the works will commence in 2005, and the negotiations with the big cargo airliners on location of the facilities at new terminal are already underway. The investment of several millions of dollars will help the economy of Serbia, because the company announced that the facility would be built by Serbia's companies.
The headquarters of DynCorp is in Irwing, Texas. From April 2004 to March 2005 the company realized income of 1.8 billion USD. Its main services are maintenance of airplanes and armament systems, air operations, logistics for military, humanitarian, ecological, civil engineering and industrial operations, project coordination, training of civilians for preservation of peace and international police training, security and information technologies. It has two sectors – space operations and International Technical Services. This company employs 14,500 people in 36 countries of the world.
