Belgrade-based Planum lays foundation stone for military hospital in Angola
First Deputy Prime Minister responsible for defense, security and the fight against corruption and crime and Minister of Defense Aleksandar Vucic attended today in Angola, accompanied with the officials of that state, the ceremony of laying the foundation stone for a new military hospital that is going to be built over the next four years by Belgrade-based Planum in cooperation with its partners from Angola.
On the second day of his official visit to Angola, Vucic visited the military hospital in Luanda and the 101st Armored Brigade in Funda, where he was informed about the participation of Serbian experts in the repair and maintenance of damaged technical equipment and weapons of that unit, it was announced on the Serbian government`s website.
Vucic also met with 37 workers from Serbia who are currently residing at the base of the unit in Funda, some 60 kilometers away from Luanda.
Vucic and his Angolan counterpart Candido Pereira dos Santos Van-Dunem visited a historic site dedicated to the heroes of the Battle of Kifangonde.
Vucic tomorrow ends his visit with a meeting with President of the Republic of Angola Jose Eduardo dos Santos, the statement reads.
