Soko Terme awaits first guests - 2,000sqm wellness center with thermal water opened in Sokobanja

Only three days prior to the Tourism Fair opening ceremony, Sokobanja got its first wellness center spanning 2,000 square meters. Local and foreign tourists are offered a rich content, which will complete the tourist offer of the spa resort at the foot of Mount Ozren. The investor - Dragisa Milojevic, a returnee from Switzerland who has already invested in a wellness center in Zdrelo, has hired 15 people in Sokobanja to date, it was announced on the municipal website.

The new wellness center will prolong the tourist season in Sokobanja. As it was announced earlier, the Soko Terme wellness center project is worth about EUR 1.5 million.
Milan Blagojevic, director of this wellness center, said that as many as 100 people had applied for a job at Soko Terme.
One of the greatest advantages of the wellness center is that it will be using thermal mineral water from the spring where water temperature is 39 degrees Centigrade. This complex also features an outdoor and two indoor swimming pools, sauna and salt room. Guests can choose between rooms with a double bed and rooms with two single beds, while all rooms feature a bathroom. According to the Soko Terme website, bed&breakfast costs RSD 3,000 on weekends and RSD 2,500 on working days. If you want to stay in a deluxe room with fireplace, bed&breakfast in that case costs between 5,000 and 5,000 dinars, whereas the accommodation in Aqua rooms is priced at between 6,500 and 7,000 dinars.
As it was announced on the municipal website, Soko Terme will receive the first organized groups from Russia in about ten days.
Sokobanja also obtained an aqua park last summer, which were very well accepted by guests. Because of that water park, the spa resort had about 60,000 visitors per month.
