Construction of highway from Niš to Macedonian border to be financially backed by Greek investors
Greek Government is interest in becoming co-financier of the highway along "Corridor 10" on the route from Niš to Macedonian border.
That was announced by the Minister of Capital Investments of Serbia, Velimir Ilić, saying that the Government of Serbia adopted changes and supplements to the spatial plan for that extremely important route. Ilić announced that the Government would ask of the European Bank for Rehabilitation and Development (EBRD) to approve credit of 140m EUR, which will be intended for procurement of railroad cars and construction of infrastructure of company "Serbian Railways".
- Of this amount, 60m EUR will be intended for procurement of transportation means. Finally, it will be the chance for us to hire the workers of metal-processing complex. I believe that "Goša", "Bratstvo" and "Vagoni" from Kraljevo will join the project – Minister pointed out.
