Construction of factory for 'Ford' parts to start in 2013 - Albon invests EUR 8.5 million in Ruma facility

Municipality of Ruma and the English firm "Albon" signed a contract for serial production of connecting rods for engines for "Ford". According to Director of British company in Serbia Ismet Grebović realization of this project starts on 1 January 2013.

In the construction of "Albon" facility in Ruma will be invested approximately EUR 8.5 million, and the works will run in two phases. The first phase, there will be built a production hall of 10,000 square meters on about 2.5 hectares, which should be completed by the end of this year and which will, by the beginning of next year, employ about 200 workers.

- We believe that we will find in Ruma at least equally skilled employees such as in Simanovci factory which has been operating since 2006. We decided to build a facility in Ruma because as we were analyzing all parameters, except a good geographical position, we realized that there was a large number of unemployed - Grebović says.

Otherwise, the Mayor of Ruma Goran Vukovic and director of the English company " Albon" in Serbia Grebović Ismet, signed the contract with which the company got for free of almost five hectares of land in the Western industrial zone of Ruma.
