Mini arena for basketball, volleyball in Valjevo opens in May 2012 - Construction by Ingrap-Omni
Athletes in Valjevo will be able to use an arena for basketball, volleyball and martial arts as of May. Work on the construction of a mini sports arena next to the basketball playground Student, which kicked off in late November 2011 and is worth RSD 33,950,000, is financed by the Kolubara Region Construction and Development Directorate.
- It is a practice arena that will primarily benefit basketball and volleyball junior teams. This 868-square-meters arena will also include 300 seats for spectators. It will be built in accordance with all basketball and volleyball standards - Dragan Jeremic, director of the Kolubara Region Construction and Development Directorate, told eKapija.
Ingrap-Omni is in charge of the construction of this mini arena, while the author of its design is Valjevo-based Ana Projekt bureau.
As our interlocutor announced, the construction of another mini arena should commence in Ljig until June 2012, and the plan is also to build school gyms in Papucke and Brankovina this year.
