Kraljevo-based "Magnohrom" became property of British investors
Company “Global Steel Holding” from Great Britain won on the tender for procurement of 100% of assets of factory “Magnohrom” from Kraljevo after it had offered the price of 1.21m EUR.
“Global Steel” obliged to invest over 23m EUR in that Kraljevo-based factory of fireproof materials and accepted to fulfill all obligations from the social programme.
Belgrade-based company “Bomex Export Import” was the second-ranked bidder, but the details of its offer are unknown.
By the way, “Magnohrom” produces fireproof ceramics, electro-ceramical products, household appliances and it deals with exploitation of magnesite and non-metal minerals. That factory employs 2,785 workers and owns facilities whose total surface is about 150,000 square meters.
