New, big conference in Belgrade - "Future of Capital Market in the Balkans"
Ekonomist Media Group, the publisher of Ekonomist magazine, organizes the second annual conference on "Future of the Capital Market in the Balkans", which will be held on June 14 and 15, 2006, in Belgrade.
The questions rise and the answers to some follow : What will happen after the privatization? In most of the countries in transition there is a trend that the privatization is followed by the delicate fall in the activities on the capital market, which is, among the rest, one of the best allocators of free means and investments in general. How can that be prevented ? How should legal frame be improved ? How to build an environment that will be stimulative to investors and ready for new investment ventures ? These are some of the questions that should be discussed at the Conference. Besides, it will be talked about the standards of the European Union, the experience of the investors from the region, smart investments and pension funds, new methods for development of capital market, etc.
