Sale of AVR Solar tokens within first tokenization of solar power plant in Serbia begins – Minimum investment EUR 3,000

After the Securities Commission approved the first project of the tokenization of a solar power plant in Serbia at the end of October, several days ago, the sale of AVR Solar tokens, issued by AVR Solar Park, officially began, announced the first cryptocurrency exchange office in Serbia – ECD.

As announced earlier, AVR Solar Park from Belgrade received approval for the issuing of 7,250 digital tokens with an individual value of EUR 100. The collected funds, as said at the time, will be put into the expansion of the existing solar power plant – the procurement of new panels and the accompanying equipment.

– With this project, Serbia is making an important step forward in combining renewable energy sources and modern financial instruments – the Securities Commission announced in October and noted that interested investors could learn about all the aspects of the project and the potential risks in detail through the published White Paper, which provided all the necessary information for making an informed investment decision.

Now, more precisely, from November 22, AVR Solar tokens are available for purchase.

– The initial coin offering (ICO) will last 90 calendar days, that is, until February 19, 2025, or until all the tokens are sold, depending on which happens earlier, as said in the White Paper. The interest rate of 6% (to the non-repaid part of the principal amount) is paid every three months or semi-annually, depending on the investor’s choice, which ensures stability and predictability when it comes to income. The first payment of the principal amount begins after the first year of investments, when 10% of the principal amount is paid to the investors every year during a ten-year period – ECD says in its announcement.

The portal reminds that the price of one AVR Solar token is EUR 100, and the minimum investment is EUR 3,000, that is 30 tokens.

– The funds collected through the sale of tokens will be used for the extension of the solar power plant Saraorci, which includes the procurement of new panels and the accompanying equipment. This extension will enable the increase of the production capacities from the current 15.1 GWh to 16.8 GWh a year with the improvement of the efficiency of the existing facility – ECD says.
