Construction of Vozd Karadjordje highway to start next summer, president announces

The president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has stated that he believes that, next summer, the construction of the Vozd Karadjordje highway will begin.

– We are now finishing the location requirements, we will soon get the building permits. I hope that, if we finish it all, we can start building the highway next year – said Vucic.

He added that the construction would start with the section from Cibutkovica to the Milos Veliki highway, which is 46 kilometers to Arandjelovac, as well as 36.5 kilometers from Mali Pozarevac.

– That’s around 82.5 kilometers in total – said the president.
