Vucic: Agreement with American company UGTR on construction of solar parks in coming days

In the coming days, Serbia will sign an important agreement with the American company UGTR on the construction of more than one gigawatt of installed power of solar parks, with balancing capacities of 200 to 250 megawatts, announced the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic.

– That is incredibly important for us, because you can’t put energy on the grid without balancing, even if you’re producing that energy, it’s a complicated process – Vucic told the press in Hamburg.

He added that he was worried about Serbia’s being late with the construction of such capacities for the production of green energy.

– It would be impossible to fulfill all that even if you had three budgets – said Vucic.
