The sale of the capital of Novinsko-izdavacko preduzece Borba has been pronounced unsuccessful, as there were no interested bidders, announced the Minister of Economy.

A package of 1,707,590 shares, which is 36.39857% of the total capital of the company, which is offered at an initial price of EUR 5.5 million, was the subject of the sale.

The state has 32.85397% of the capital, and the other shareholders have 67.14603%.

Local and foreign legal and natural persons had the right to participate in the procedure, and the public call said that interested persons could apply for taking part in the procedure by August 27 at the latest.

A day later, the session of the Commission for Carrying Out the Procedure of the Public Collection of Bids with Public Bidding for the Purpose of the Sale of the Capital of the Privatization Subject was held. It was unanimously determined that no application for taking part in the procedure had been submitted before the expiration of the set deadline.
