New facility of Spintec factory opens in Nis

The new facility of the Spintec factory has opened in Nis, and the official opening and the ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by numerous representatives of this company from Hong Kong and China, as well as the authorities of the city of Nis. This company has been operating in Nis since 2018, and EUR 5 million will be invested in the expansion of the capacities, of which a half of that sum has already been invested.

This company employs 450 workers in China, whereas in Nis, 83 workers are employed. By 2023, Spintec had invested EUR 2.8 million. It was not said at the opening how many more residents of Nis would be employed at the factory.

They produce precision metal gears, worm drives, axels, spindles and other components for the automotive industry and medical equipment. Worm drives produced in Nis can be found in electronic parking brakes and rearview mirrors.
