Construction of national pavilion of Serbia at EXPO 2027 to cost EUR 40 million – Designers selected

The company Artbeat Lab from Belgrade will design the National Pavilion of Serbia at EXPO 2027, and the agreement is worth RSD 9.92 million. This offer was also the only offer at the tender that the Ministry of Finance opened on June 5.

The decision on the awarding of the contract also shows that the construction of the pavilion will cost RSD 4.68 billion (around EUR 40 million).

The future facility should have a basement and nine floors (including the ground floor) and have a maximum gross area of 30,000 m2. A maximum of six underground levels are allowed.

The facility should feature a multifunctional space, a gallery/exhibition space, educational features, as well as sections for the administration, technical rooms, service rooms, logistics and connections.

The bidder is obliged to submit a draft design of the pavilion of the Republic of Serbia along with the bid – a textual and visual explanation of the concept of the design, as well as the facility’s interior and exterior (a 3D display of the facility with materialization). The draft should contain an estimated price of the realization, that is, the construction of the facility based on the design of the pavilion of the Republic of Serbia for “EXPO 2027 BEOGRAD” without the VAT. Bids without the required draft will be rejected as unacceptable.

The deadline for the preparation of the final design of the pavilion of the Republic of Serbia for EXPO 2027 Beograd may not be longer than 90 calendar days.
