Vucic talks to representatives of Chinese Zhejiang Geely Holding about development of Serbian automotive industry

The president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, has held a meeting with representatives of the Chinese multinational conglomerate Zhejiang Geely Holding, with whom he talked about the development of the Serbian automotive industry and Chinese investments in the Serbian economy.

– The development of the automotive industry is one of the key elements of our economic strategy and one of the main indicators of the dedication to the modernization and strengthening of this sector, which will attract additional foreign investments – Vucic said on his Instagram profile and emphasized that the meeting with the representatives of that Chinese conglomerate was excellent.

Vucic added that Serbia would become a regional center for the automotive industry with the help of modern technologies and international partnerships.

– We will continue working on creating a favorable business environment and attracting new investments which will contribute to the growth and development of our economy – Vucic says.
