Chinese company looking for partners for production of rail cars in Serbia – Representatives of CRCC visit facilities of Gosa and Zelvoz factories

Representatives of the largest Chinese producer and repairer of rail cars, CRCC, have visited the factories of rail vehicles Gosa and Zelvoz.

The company’s representatives first visited the facilities of Gosa. They were the most interested in the production program of the rail vehicle factory, how equipped it was in terms of machines, equipment, infrastructure, production systems, staff and the technological process carried out in Gosa during the production of new cargo rail cars and during the repair of passenger rail cars.

The Chinese representatives have recognized Gosa’s long tradition in that field, as shown by the fact that this is the third visit of representatives of the Chinese company CRCC, where they expressed serious intentions to establish some form of cooperation between these two companies.

Said representatives of CRCC are specialized in the production and repair of cargo rail cars, and their main goal is to cooperate with a Serbian factory in Europe for the purpose of enabling the placement of their products in the European market.

In addition to Gosa, the representatives of the Chinese company also visited the Zelvoz factory, and as its general director, Svetozar Bugarin, points out, the interest of Chinese companies has especially grown following the visit of president Xi to Belgrade.

He also says that Zelvoz wants to have a strategic partner that could increase the production possibilities of both Zelvoz and Gosa and bring new technologies in the processes of the production and repair of both cargo and passenger rail cars.

After the visit, which was completed to mutual satisfaction, the Chinese representatives promised that it was not just one step, but a serious action that would lead to cooperation in the next period.
