City of Kraljevo puts up for lease eight “disputable” facilities used by Apotekarska ustanova

The City of Kraljevo has put up for lease eight facilities, publicly owned by the city, which are used by the pharmaceutical company Apotekarska ustanova. The procedure is to be carried out through written bids.

The facilities have 32 m2 to 187 m2 and have been offered for lease to a bidder, at an initial price of RSD 721,033. The business spaces are to be leased for a period of 10 years, with a possibility of extension.

The lessee obliges to pick up the supplies with a shelf life not shorter than 12 months, as well as the equipment and the street furniture. Also, the future lessee will be obliged to secure, for one of the rented facilities in the city area, night shifts, Sunday shifts and holiday shifts.

Let us remind that, recently, after a five-day session, the members of the City Assembly of Kraljevo adopted the decision on the leasing of the eight facilities owned by the city and used by Apotekarska ustanova.

On the other hand, dissatisfied with this decision, the employees of Apotekarska ustanova initiated an official procedure for the collection of 10,000 signatures necessary for the opening of a referendum where the citizens of Kraljevo would have their say about the fate of this company.

Apotekarska ustanova Kraljevo has existed for 150 years. It employes 97 university-educated pharmacists and pharmacologists and covers the medical drug needs of both Raska and Vrnjacka Banja.
