A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between PE “Roads of Serbia”, the City of Čačak and China Communications Construction Company Ltd. (CCCC) Belgrade branch with the aim of further development of the city of Čačak and local self-government on the construction of traffic infrastructure, the PE “Roads of Serbia” announced.

In the following period, documentation is being prepared for the Northern bypass project of the city of Čačak, whose planned route stretches from Jabučnjak in Parmenac, to Prijevor, Trbušan, over the Ljubić hill to Preljina itself.

The first phase of this project envisages the construction of a bridge over the Zapadna Morava in order to connect the settlement across the river with the state road I-B line number 23.

The bridge initially connects the settlements of Parmenac and Prijevor, where the route continues to state road II-B order number 355 in Trbušani and continues the extension of the route in the direction of Preljina. The expected length of the corridor that connects the starting point of the settlement of Parmenac and the end point of the settlement of Ljubić is about 10 km.
