International Agricultural Fair in Novi Sad opened

The 91st International Agricultural Fair, which is gathering over 1,200 exhibitors from 40 countries this year, opened its gates in Novi Sad on May 18 and will last until May 23, 2024.

As the organizers announced, the visitors can expect the presentation of the latest technical and technological achievements in the agrarian sector, the application of science in agriculture, an exhibition of organic food, as well as food with geographic origin designations, the most modern agricultural mechanization, products and services from the most remote corners of the world.

Expert gatherings, round tables, educations and presentations will be held, with a special focus on improving the knowledge and examples of good practice.

Within the pavilion of the EU Delegation to Serbia, a panel on the advantages of the implementation of EU standards in Serbia, as well as the presentation of the Measures 1, 3, 4 and 7 of the IPARD 3 program, will be held.

Sensors and robots in modern agriculture will also be presented at the Fair, and the Embassy of Germany will present examples of regional cooperation within the Germany-Southeast Europe dialogue about the agricultural policy.

The fair is held indoors and outdoors within the Novi Sad Fair and the Congress Center “Master”.

The European Union is the partner of the Fair, the general sponsor is Globos osiguranje, the gold sponsor is Al Dahra, and the partner bank is Banka Postanska stedionica.

The Fair is open between 9am and 7pm.
