The Prime Minister of Serbia, Milos Vucevic, spoke today with the President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC), Marko Cadez, about new, concrete ways of cooperation with the commercial sector. Prime Minister Vucevic supported the initiative of opening a permanent dialogue between the Government of Serbia and the Serbian economy, which was presented by the President of the SCC, Marko Cadez.

- We have agreed that the Serbian Chamber of Commerce will soon organize workshops where local companies would present to the relevant ministers what can and must be done in order to improve the overall economic environment in Serbia. Only together can we make Serbia economically strong and stable, especially in these troubling times - Vucevic said according to the SCC report.

He added that he also discussed with the president of the SCC a new way of organizing the Council for GDP, where important decisions will be made about the functioning of the economy and ways to grow the gross domestic product within the given framework.

One of the topics of discussion was the formation of a new Digitization Council that would bring the best solutions in one of the key areas for Serbia.

SCC President Marko Cadez emphasized that the idea of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce to include as many Serbian companies as possible into the projects "Leap into the Future 2027" and "Expo 2027" was endorsed by Prime Minister Vucevic.

- We have the support of Prime Minister Vucevic to create a register of jobs of our companies that can participate not only in the construction and equipping of the space where Expo 2027 will be held, but also in other projects included in the plan "Leap into the Future" by the President Vucic and the Government of Serbia - said Cadez.

He added that SCC will immediately start surveying companies in order to obtain clear and precise data on which Serbian companies can be engaged in projects worth 18 billion.
