The company Sebre Marina Dorcol has filed to the Secretariat for Environmental Protection of Belgrade the request for giving approval to the Environmental Impact Assessment Study of the project of the construction of the residential-office complex Marina Dorcol.

The project plans the construction of a residential-office complex with a total GLA of 195,853 m2, whose realization is planned in seven phases.

The total net area meant for housing is 81,911 m2, whereas the area meant for business amounts to 26,880 m2. The complex will feature 564 apartments, 39 outlets, 68 business apartments and two preschool institution annexes. Also, the total number of parking spaces in the underground garage will be 1,181.

At the end of September, the Secretariat for Urban Planning and Construction of the City Administration of Belgrade issued the location requirements for the construction of Marina Dorcol, and at the beginning of December, Sebre Marina Dorcol submitted the request for deciding on the necessity of an environmental impact assessment.

The planned construction zone is located in the oldest city core and encompasses the space of the former industrial zone Marina Dorcol in Lower Dorcol, in whose immediate environment is a creek, the former Thermal Power Plant “Snaga i svetlost”, with a gantry crane, a pumping station and the rail corridor of the Belgrade-Pancevo railroad.

The project was prepared by the architectural studio Kuzmanovic-Fiala doo from Belgrade.

The public presentation and the public discussion about the Environmental Impact Assessment Study will be held on May 22, until which date the document will also be available for public inspection.
