Export of ICT services continues its intensive growth this year

The National Bank of Serbia has published the data on the export of services in the sector of information and communications technologies (ICT) for the first two months of 2024, the minister of information and telecommunications of Serbia, Mihailo Jovanovic, announced on his X account.

He said that those were “great news for Serbia, because the total exports for January and February 2024 continued growing intensively, increasing by 22% compared to the same period last year and amounting to EUR 609 million.”

– To compare, the total exports of the ICT services for the entire 2015 amounted to EUR 611 million, so, as much as in the first two months of this year – Jovanovic said and added:


– The ICT sector is one of the fastest growing industries of Serbia and realizes a considerable surplus in the export of services, and in the first two months of this year, the surplus amounts to as much as EUR 494 million, which is a growth of 20% compared to the same period last year. We continue supporting our economy, our talents and experts and an intensive development of the ICT sector.
