Telekom Srbija Group officially enters German market – MTEL Germany opens doors to its branch offices

Telekom Srbija Group is continuing expanding its operations in Europe. At the ceremony organized on the occasion of the opening of the branch offices in Moenchengladbach and Dusseldorf, by cutting the ribbon, the CEO of Telekom Srbija, Vladimir Lucic, and the CEO of MTEL Germany, Stefan Bozic, symbolically opened the new outlet of MTEL Germany and thereby marked another important step in the expansion of this company’s operations in big European markets.

As said in the press release, in its newly opened outlets, MTEL Germany offers mobile telephony (prepaid and postpaid) and television services to its users.

– After Austria and Switzerland, in which MTEL has been operating with great success for years now, the market of Germany was the logical next step. We have created a unique service that is attractive to all citizens of Germany, especially taking into account the large diaspora from the former Yugoslavia who live here, but also the diasporas of other countries – Vladimir Lucic pointed out and added:

– Our expectations in the German market are big, primarily considering the quality of the services we offer to the users, which would not be possible without the great cooperation with our partners from Vodafone, for which I would like to thank them on this occasion. These are two new outlets, and by the end of the year, there will be a total of 30 throughout Germany, and I would like to invite everybody interested to visit our branch offices, make sure of the quality of the services and become our users.

Talking about the cooperation between Vodafone and MTEL Germany, the technology manager at Vodafone, Tanja Richter, stated:

– We are looking forward to the cooperation. MTEL users are getting access to the mobile internet highway which offers high data transfer speeds and enough capacities for the everyday digital life. Thanks to the constant expansion of the network, Vodafone’s LTE network is available to more than 99% of the people.

The carefully created offer for users who live and work in Germany, and who come from these areas, is characterized by the German quality which they are used to, but also offers numerous advantages which bring a better connection with their place of origin to their homes and everyday life.

– In the domain of mobile telephony, it is important to point out that MTEL Germany users will not change their existing numbers, and by becoming part of the single MTEL zone, the conversations with family and friends within the MTEL networks in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia, as well as the mts network in Serbia, will be free for them within the selected package – stated the CEO of MTEL Germany, Stefan Bozic.

Talking about the television content offer of MTEL, Bozic added:

– Our offer is characterized by quality and variety. The most watched channels from the region of the former Yugoslavia, the best sports and the most attractive series and films in the language we all understand. Also, customer support is in our language, which makes the communication easier for many users.

In addition to the branch offices in Moenchengladbach and Dusseldorf, MTEL Germany has also opened an outlet in Munich, and the opening of an outlet in Bochum is expected soon. Also, the services of MTEL Germany are available on the website www.mtelgermany.de/sr and through the branched-out network of distributors like Lekkerland, which encompasses the Post of Germany, most of the gas stations (OMW, ENI) and a large number of kiosks/newsstands throughout the country.
