There are parties interested in purchasing the company Danube Riverside, which owns Hotel Jugoslavija on the Zemun Wharf, the associate of the bankruptcy supervisor, Ljubisa Miljkovic, said for eKapija.

According to him, the deposits have been paid for the public bidding which will be held on Friday, March 22, and as he said, “one company undoubtedly meets all the requirements.”

Hotel Jugoslavija is being sold as a business space and a single unit, with a basement, ground floor, mezzanine and eight floors, and over 45,000 m2 of building land is also offered. Also, as part of the property, the offer includes artworks protected by the state – chandeliers, a bust and a sculpture, works of Aleksandar Zarin.

The value of the property has been estimated at RSD 6.53 billion (EUR 54.2 million), and the initial price is RSD 3.18 billion (EUR 27.1 million).

According to the sales ad, joint ownership of Danube Riverside in bankruptcy and the company MV Investment from Belgrade over the land is established.

– The legal delineation has not been finished, in the sense of determining the co-ownership shares on the land, nor has the physical division of the land been done – the note says.

The text of the ad also notes that the dispute with the company Luka Beograd is ongoing.
