City of Belgrade Sells Share in Lasta?

The share package of Saobracajno preduzece Lasta (Transport Company Lasta) was sold at the Belgrade Stock Exchange on Monday at RSD 560 per share, that is, for a total of RSD 145.26 million.

This amounts to a total of 264,116 shares – which is equal to the package which the City of Belgrade has in this company, according to the data of the Central Securities Depository and Clearing House.

The statistics of the ownership in Lasta show that the biggest stake at the moment belongs to the Equity Fund, with 29.72%, followed by the Republic of Serbia, with 13.79%, whereas the City of Belgrade is the third biggest co-owner, with 11.48%.

Saobracajno preduzece Lasta is on the list of the Ministry of Economy for the potential privatization this year, since it has been put in the category of “potential opening of a public call in 2024” in a privatization database of sorts.
