Construction of Hybrid Solar and Wind Power Plant Ventus with Electricity Storage System

The City of Zajecar has announced that the work on the decision on starting the preparation of the Detailed Regulation Plan for the construction of the hybrid power plant Ventus, with the construction of a system for the storage of electrical energy, is to begin.

The plan is for the hybrid solar and wind power plant to be built in the territories of the cadaster municipalities of Glogovica, Dubocane, Mala Jasikova and Koprivnica.

As said, the plan will be prepared to the end of understanding the spatial possibilities of the location itself, the direct and the wider area, as well as the existing and planned infrastructural connections, so as to find the optimal spatial-program solution for the location and the construction of the hybrid power plant, which consists of a solar power plant and a wind farm, with the accompanying infrastructure.

When asked by eKapija, the Department of Urban Planning of the City of Zajecar couldn’t provide more information about the investor and the power of the future facility.
