The collection of road toll on the highway from Ruma to Sabac and on the Morava Corridor (up to the temporary frontal toll station Kosevi) began on January 1, 2024, announced the PE Roads of Serbia.

The company, as announced, also revised the length of the sections subject to road toll in line with the Reference System of the Network of State Roads, which, as pointed out, will have an impact on certain price adjustments when it comes to road toll.

– In addition to said changes, the fee for the use of road facilities – bridges, viaducts, tunnels – is implemented as well, whereby the road toll per kilometer traveled is increased by 50% for bridges and viaducts and by 100% for tunnels. Also, discounts for the users of student cards of 2%, of pensioner cards of 3% and of electric vehicles of 10% are implemented, the use of which will be possible exclusively by using the web service for electronic toll collection – the PE Roads of Serbia points out in the announcement.

As noted, the price changes have been made in line with the obligations defined by the Law on Fees for the Use of Public Goods, and based on the amendments to the Decision on the Amount of the Special Fee for the Use of a Public Road, Its Part and a Road Facility (Road Toll).
