Tender Published for Preparation of DRP and Preliminary Project for Motorway from Novi Sad to Backa Palanka

The PE Roads of Serbia has opened the public procurement procedure for the preparation of the Detailed Regulation Plan and Preliminary Design with a Feasibility Study for the construction of a fast route (motorway) on the Novi Sad-Veternik-Futog-Begec-Glozan-Celarevo-Backa Palanka section. As clarified in the tendering documentation, the project entails the construction of a new traffic route, which will be an alternative to the existing IB-grade state road no. 12.

The corridor of the future traffic route is planned from the connection with the traffic route in the zone of the North Interchange, which connects the E-75 highway with Evrope Blvd and Rumenacki Put Street in Novi Sad, through the intersection with the IIA-grade state road no. 111 on the Novi Sad-Rumenka section and through the planned intersections, through which the settlements of Veternik, Rumenka, Futog, Glozan and Celarevo need to be connected with said route, to the intersection with the IB-grade state road no. 12 on the ring road around Backa Palanka, which is also the end-point of the newly planned traffic route.

The future motorway should be planned with four driving lanes of 3.5 meters each, four shoulders of half a meter each, a median strip of four meters and two banks of a meter and a half each. The merging-diverging lanes should be 3.5 meters wide, same as the additional tracks with inclines. The planned vehicle movement speed on the future traffic route is 100 km/h.

The estimated value of the procurement is RSD 125 million without the VAT.

The planned agreement validity period for this job is 18 months.
